Creating Deliveries
- A delivery is automatically created when a sales order is approved if the sales order's planned delivery date is known. For information on approving sales orders, visit this article.
- If you need to create a delivery for a sales order manually, click Add Delivery in the Sales Order View.
- When a delivery is created for a sales order, its contents in the 'deliver' table are automatically filled out with whatever is required to complete the sales order. If there are existing deliveries that do not completely satisfy the sales order, the new delivery is automatically assigned all items that have not yet been delivered.
Example
For example, consider a sales order for 25000 cans of beer:
This order already has a delivery for 10000 cans of beer associated with it.
15000 cans are unaccounted for by any delivery. When a new delivery is created, its contents are filled out to satisfy the rest of the order.
Quick Delivery
You can create and complete a delivery at the same time using Brew Ninja's Quick Deliver feature.
