Substituting Ingredients
If you have run out of an ingredient or wish to make a special variation of a recipe for a brew, you can substitute one ingredient in a brew for another. You can also add and remove ingredients from brews as you need without altering the original recipe. These changes will effect your WIPs, inventory, and cost of the finished products, so you can only modify a brew's ingredients before it has been brewed.
Editing a Brew's Ingredients
- Go to the batch containing the brew you wish to modify. You can do this by clicking Production → Schedule and selecting the batch, or Production → Batches and selecting the batch there.
- Once you have opened the batch containing the brew, select the specific brew you wish to modify. This will take you to the brew's brew sheet.
- Click Edit.
- Scroll down to the ingredients grid. Add, modify, and remove ingredients as required.
- Click Save All.
FAQ
The ingredients grid won't let me modify it.
The brew's ingredients are already in a tank! You can only edit a brew's ingredients before the batch is brewed.
