QuickBooks is not designed to handle raw material inventory. In QuickBooks raw materials are simply a value. By configuring a QuickBooks ledger account for Materials in Brew Ninja, Brew Ninja can keep the balance of that ledger synchronized with the value of your Raw Material inventory.
When materials are added to inventory via the Purchase Order, the Raw Materials ledger account will be increased. When Raw Materials are used to manufacture beer (or sold directly in the case of merchandise) the associate QuickBooks ledger account will be decreased.
