Bulk Adding Equipment
Brew Ninja allows you to add equipment records for many items with sequential serial numbers with a single operation.
- Click Inventory → Equipment/Serials
- Click Bulk Add Serials
- Select the material representing the equipment being added.
- Enter the first and last serial numbers in your range.
- Enter the number of digits your serial number contains. Generated numbers will be padded with zeroes to meet this length requirement. If you do not want your serial numbers padded, leave this value blank.
- Optionally, enter a prefix and suffix to be applied to all of your generated serial numbers.
- Enter the purchase date of the equipment you are adding.
- Optionally, enter the purchase cost of each unit of the equipment you are adding.
- Click Create.
- Your equipment has now been created.
If the bulk adding process generates a serial number that already exists, Brew Ninja avoids serial number conflicts by skipping that serial number.
