Creating a Sales Order

  1. Click Transactions →  Sales Orders to view the sales orders list.
  2. Your sales order either uses wholesale or retail pricing. Once created, the pricing mode of a sales order cannot be changed. Select the Add button for the pricing mode of your sales order.
  3. Select the customer your sales order is for. If this business partner's province is different from that of your company's shipping address, bottle deposits will default to zero instead of the item's default bottle deposit value. 
  4. Enter your customer's purchase order that this sales order is for, if known.
  5. Select your warehouse that will be handling this sales order.
  6. Enter the planned delivery date, if known.
  7. Add items to your sales order.
    1. Click the Add button to add a blank item record.
    2. Select the SKU representing the product for this item.
    3. Enter the base price for the item, the discount rate, and the quantity.
    4. In the Levies (Per) column will be the total amount of levies for each item.  This can be configured in the Product SKU setup screen.
    5. Enter the tax mode being applied to this item.
  8. If your customer has returned rental equipment but has not yet been refunded the deposit for the equipment, you may refund this in this order.
    • Click $ to include the refund for a piece of equipment in this sales order.
  9. Click Save All.

Editing a Sales Order

  1. Click Transactions →  Sales Orders to view the sales orders list.
  2. Click on the sales order you wish to edit.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Make alterations to the sales order as required. Click Save All.
